Context —
Urban Source is an alternative form of arts & craft store that sells manufacture discards from local businesses. Their store has thrived for over two decades with its special charms that big corporations fail to have: a sense of warmness and their genuine support for sustainability.
I designed a distinctive brand identity for Urban Source which they were initially lacking, so that they can continue to grow as an ecofriendly business.
I aimed to brand Urban Source to be more than just a store that sells manufacture discards, but a place that breathes ideas into its visitors with the unusual objects that they sell.The design elements in this project too, are inspired from the materials that are available at Urban Source, meaning the components can be created by the store staffs themselves with the inventory that is already accessible to them.
