Context —

Climate Action Task Force (CATF) is an environmental organization at Emily Carr University that educates and mobilizes students to fight climate change.

My project partner and I designed a campaign that raises awareness on the conflict of destructive palm oil plantations in Southeast Asia.

We emphasized chaos with the usage of colours and photos in our branding so as to visually reflect what’s happening to the environment. Building upon this idea, we took inspirations from vintage comic books as a way to evoke curiosity from our target audience. This approach helps to increase engagement from the audience, and ultimately inform wider array of people on this issue.
